This pattern is a great introduction to sewing zippers!

Materials:

Zippy Clutch pattern (You can buy this as a download online or purchase a paper copy in the store.)

1 – Fat quarter for the front panel, one eighth if you use denim for the wrist strap

1 – Fat quarter for the lining, two if you have a directional print

1 yard Pellon SF101

1 – 22″ zipper plus an extra pull, or 2) 14″ zippers

An old pair of jeans for the front accent, back panel, and wrist strap

Ruler and marking pen, at least 12″

A Westside Colorado Springs native, Tracy has been sewing since she was a teenager. The pandemic sent her back to the machine making masks for friends and family.
