Suzanne had so much fun making the square Gypsy pillow with all of you she would like to share the process of making the rectangle version. Even if you didn’t watch the first video you can jump in and make this version. Gypsy Pillows are fun to make using the quilt as you go method. Choose bright and funky or more traditional fabrics to make these pillows in two sizes.
Jelly roll or scrap friendly the simple construction will have you making loads of pillows in a variety of fabrics. Square pillow 20″ x 20″ Rectangular pillow 15” x 24”.
Supplies:
Requirements:
A variety of strips at least 2 1/2” x 42” for both pillows
1/4 yard for the rectangular pillow corner pieces
2/3 yard of quilters muslin or scrap fabric for 2 pillows
1 yard iron on pellon for 2 pillows
2/3 yard backing for the square pillow
2/3 yard backing for the rectangular pillow
