This year we are hosting a new kind of class called a sew along. Unlike a traditional quilt class where you cut and prep all your fabric before class and then sew like crazy to try and keep up we will take a quilt and break it down to a few classes. This is a more relaxed approach. It is nice to go through not only the sewing process in class but also the fabric selection and cutting.
This month we are making the Libby Quilt by Kitchen Table designs. This is a pattern that looks more complicated than it actually is – there are no y-seams and it is great for experienced beginners on up who want to show off their fabrics. The pattern includes instructions for baby size (38″ x 51″), lap size (51″ x 64″), twin size (76″ x 89″), and queen size (89″ x 115″) quilts. We will have kits available for the baby size I will sewing online.
To be in the online class you must purchase the pattern and a minimum of 2 yards of fabric from Nanas.
