Classes


This is an introduction to quilting that will focus on the completion of a small, usable quilt. Skills that you will learn in the 1st class include cutting, piecing, and pressing. The second class will concentrate on borders. The 3rd class, basic machine quilting and the last class will be binding. Join us for this series of four classes.

Bring a small quilt, and learn 2 different methods to finish your projects. It is my favorite part of quilting. You will love your binding too after this class! It's time to get things finished.

We will teach you all you need to know to to make your favorite shirts into a quilt. We'll teach you skills for prepping your shirts and help you design a layout.

What do you see? Stars or tumbling blocks? This is a fabric optical illusion called triaxial weaving. Instead of being woven with just warp and weft, the fabric strips are woven at 3 different angles. A fun ‘no sew’ project!
